FOOTWORKS is a specialist running section within the already well established winter sports shop, Snowlines, which has now clearly established a firm footing in the city and online. www.footworks-uk.com/

The running staff at Footworks are all trained by Anatom Academy and American guru Phil Oren. We have close links to local Podiatrists, Physio's and Osteopaths who each specialise with specific re-occurring ailments.

Our clothing ranges are all runningspecific and will help you perform and feel good.

The shop boasts 4 VIDEO GAIT EVALUATION stations in store and a programme of events aimed at both competitive and non competitive running. This combination gives us the competitive edge to fit you to the correct shoe with total confidence. No other shop will give you this level of information while fitting shoes.

Sun.................9.30am (3 groups, group 1; 7.5 - 8 min/mile pace 15 miles +/ group 2; 8.5 - 9min/mile pace 10-12 miles, / group 3; 10-11min /mile pace 6-9 miles.)

Meet at Footworks at Snowlines 14/15 Bruntsfield Place, Edinburgh, 5 mins before to pair people into similar paced groups to benefit the run. Footworks store will be open for meeting and leaving luggage.

The picture at the side is not representative of the pain of running, its Liz at this years World XC Championships in Edinburgh where she finished in a very respectable position. This was part of her preparation for London Marathon and subsequently confirming her place in the GBR team for Bejing 2008. Well done Liz, a fantastic bit of support came from the Edinburgh Crowd.
