The Paramount is Saucony's newest top-of-the-range running shoe, offering stability for mild over pronators and luxury cushioning and impact protection. However, the real difference in the Paramount to ANY OTHER RUNNING SHOE IN THE WORLD is the Comfortemp(r) Upper.

The Comfortemp lining in the upper of the ProGrid Paramount running shoe is integrated with millions of mPCM micro capsules: As soon as the runner’s foot warms up to 28 degrees Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit) Comfortemp ensures that the body heat will be absorbed by the mPCM capsules before sweat is produced, creating a pleasant cooling effect. When the foot temperature drops again, the mPCM releases the stored heat back to the feet.
